A trail of pheromones?

So after cl and on my way out of the building, i notice that one of my clmate was walking right besides me at the same speed too so I asked casually if he still goes to the gym (saw him there once). He said he has been sick lately so no then suddenly ask if I wanted to grab coffee. I was shock cause today was the last day of cl and we BARELY talked so why now? Anyway since cl ended early, i said yes thinking that it's something casual since it's on a Starbucks on campus. In line, he said he will pay for me but I laugh refusing it. We talked for 30mins about cles and related subjects. Then I cut conversation because i need to work on some paper(coming finals week) and we left stopping at the library where he asked me to study with him. I had someplace else in mind n wasn't really up for it but accepted. He studied and I wrote for 2 hrs. then he had to catch the train but insisted on walking me back to my dorm. Geez, so dragged out.Anyway, he have my number. So, was i asked out on a date? And why now, the last day of cl? Seriously, he is third guy i'm in contact with from the SAME class. The first, i refused to give my number to and the second and i are only mere friends but he has my number. I'm sort of psych out now, and the only conclusion i came up with is that they are playing some sort of game or having a contest (based on past experiences). In addition, just now i received a text from some guy i've only met once(don't know how he got my number) asking me to meet up with him. I don't know, but this is one crazy day.
