Will having a tattoo affect my future career employment chances (I'm asian)?

I'm planning to get a tattoo on my forearm. It's a tiger, tribal styled, about 10-15cm large. To me, it represents courage and self-confidence. However i don't know if it will affect my future career employment chances, because the general perception of someone with tattoos is that the person is either a rebel or a hooligan. It's a very taboo thing i know, but it's a very asian way of seeing things, especially among chinese. Suggestions?
