What is the difference between RWD and FWD aftermarket rims?

i do know that RWD stands for Rear wheel drive and FWD stands for Front wheel drive... but when looking at aftermarket rims i noticed that some sizes arer just for RWD and some are just for FWD and i was wondering what the distinction was...
