Does anyone know what a good brand is for digital cameras? Or maybe a specific camera?

There really are a bunch of brands of digital cameras out there now. The problem is that the cheaper the price... the cheaper the construction. In other words, "you get what you pay for." You can pretty much take that advice to the bank. The better made cameras are Canon and Nikon. They cost more initially but last longer so saves you money in the long run. When you next go looking for a camera.... don't go for cute. Go for well made and sturdy. Good Luck
