Will this kind of guy ever get a girlfriend?

well....sounds like the girl he does find would be pretty special. since he's never had a relationship before i'd guess he doesn't understand how much he would love, depend on, and respect that girl. the right girl would be one who supports him in his objectives, wants a firm man in her life, doesn't mind being his main link (as in, only true friend) i think it's possible, but i think (and this is just my opinion) it also means that she'd have to love him well before he realized how much she meant to him! but love always win, i promise!!
