Mexican National Team Opinion?

Believe it or not, 3 years ago, Mexico was ranked 4 on the Coca-Cola Rankings and for a good reason. I know that those rankings are BS but the MNT was a lot different in many ways. There was more humility and chemistry with this team. They played great all the time and finished 4 in Confederations and gave Germany, Brazil and Argentina a run for their money.Players like Kikin, Omar Bravo, Ricardo Osorio and even Rafa Marquez played with back then. What happened? My opinion: All these guys have themselves on high pedestals and lost all their humilty when they went to europe. This goes for Gio and Carlos Vela. These guys have all the talent in the world but never show it on the NT. Most of our starting 11 play in Europe and I think thats the problem. Sure they get more Exposure playing there but i could care less if they didnt play in europe if it meant the NT being great again. All I'm saying is, I think back then when they were #4, the reason why they were #4 was becuase they played in Mexico and they practiced more as unit because they didnt worry about flights and different time zones and more importanly, not worrying about getting hurt. These guys were iconic at one point in their careers. What happened? Also I think coaching had to do with it. LaVolpe was great to the NT like it or not.
