What's the best way to tell a girl you like her?

I decided I like a girl so I'm going to tell her but what do you think is better way: simply "I like you," or "I've realized something and I'm going to be a man about it and tell you it right now: I really like (in italics) you," or "You're so cool, you have a great sense of humor, I love your taste in music...and I think I have a crush on you (or '...I really like you')" or any other suggestions if those sound bad?
