Is there a name for this kind of traditional English residential house?
I used to live in Finsbury Park and I know that most of the properties in that area are Victorian. The ones on your link are Victorian Terraced properties. Many of them had outside toilet facilities and tin baths were used in front of the fire in the kitchen as there was little or no plumbing when they were originally built. The two storey houses would have been used by the average working family. The four storey ones would more than likely have been for the more upper cl families. With the ground floor being for the working staff, 1st and second floors were family accommodation and the top floor may have been the sleeping quarters for the maids etc. I hope this helps.
